Implementing “Sport Education” to Actively Engage Students in Dance Units
Participants will learn how the Sport Education (SE) Curriculum Model is used within traditional sports and how it can be adapted for non-traditional sports/activities, such as dance. Participants will engage in a secondary PE lesson where they will fulfill SE roles and learn an upbeat modern dance. Participants will leave with strategies to implement SE into their PE programs.
