Using the Standards-based Instructional Design Process to Ensure Student Learning
Join us as we take a look at the standards-based instructional design process and how it can benefit your health students. We’ll examine the unpacking process and determine the qualities of assessment tools that truly measure student success.
Main Points: The standards-based instructional design process provides both the teacher and the students an understanding of what the goal of the learning is. Using this process allows teachers to determine what learning will look like and the best way to measure it. We’ll take a look at the differences between SBID and traditional lesson planning. We’ll also share examples of lessons created by using the process. Participants will have time to begin unpacking a standard of their choice.
